It's Friday and I was looking forward to a nice spot for dinner and maybe a couple of drinks to welcome in the weekend. Instead, last minute work beckons for my friend, 30 mins before our dinner date. Sigh... c'est la vie for us. Definitely a blessing in disguise for me because those heels were absolutely killing me today. I had very angry looking blisters that I think will take forever to heal when I got home. Serve me right for not wearing them in first! Instead, I trudged home to the boy, cosied up and had Macca's for dinner!
