Remember the papers I was cramming for a few months back? Alright, I was cramming because I had been procrastinating too much in the first place but we all do that, I'm sure. Guess what?? Results came out last week and I passed! I even got a credit for one paper. The end of CPA is sooo near, I can taste it. One more paper and I'll be done with studying. I can't wait!

I wore this to a wedding about two weeks ago and was tossing up between heels and these flats and I am so glad that I decided to go with the flats. We didn't know there was parking for wedding guests and searched forever for public parking and then had to rush uphill to get to the venue! Yup, thank goodness I was wearing flats! I love this dress - it's absolutely perfect for spring and I must have gotten it for less than 20 pounds when we were in the UK in May. Bargain! Since our seasons are the reverse to those of the northern hemisphere, I hadn't had the chance to rock this outfit until now. It'll be perfect for catch-ups with friends or weekend lunches with the family, I reckon!

It was a quiet celebration for our November anniversary. The hubs was still adjusting to his new braces and also had to go away for work so we settled down for a quick dinner and a lil cupcake treat before he rushed off.

My arms hurt, my legs hurt, even my butt hurts! This whole painting business is definitely giving me a full body workout. Wait, does that mean that I was unfit? But I've been running at least twice a week for the past month, so how can that be?? 

Anyway, I thought painting was gonna be easy-peasy but as it turned out, there is actually so much to do. There are even more walls than we accounted for - you know those ones inside the cupboards, by the windows, the ceiling skirtings... ahhh!! So far, we've primed all the walls except for the kitchen area. I'm hoping to get it done during the week and get some paint on some of the walls before my folks return to help on the weekend. Wish us luck, we definitely need it!

So we'll just have to blame them pictures coz our lives are going to be turned upside down again. Gosh, now that was a bit dramatic but we finally decided to give the painting a go. We just woke up one day and decided that we really don't want to live with our yellowy white walls any longer and we want white, just pure white walls!! We've been sugar scrubbing the place this week and we're going to prep it tomorrow. I've also enlisted the help of my parents to paint on Sunday which hopefully means that we'll be finish by the end of the weekend. Too ambitious? Maybe before Christmas then!
