blazer: topshop; top: h&m; skirt: third millenium; heels: new look
There were a couple of outfit shots captured in December that I've not posted yet so here we go. This was early in December because you can see all the painters tape on the skirting and newspapers around.
I love love love this skirt. There are quite a number of clothes in my closet that are from so long ago that I can't remember that I will never be able to bear the thought of being apart from. The skirt is from my uni days and definitely one of those pieces of clothing I hold dear to my heart. Back then I was a poor uni student on a budget who got the skirt on sale and it came down mid calf. I wore it oh so proudly with my genie shoes to lectures and tutes and thought I was oh so very fashionable! Until, I started working and realised that I looked like a bag lady in that skirt! How being in the workforce changes a person's mindset so very quickly!
