Welcome to this tiny nook of mine.
That's me right there. My name is Joyce and I live in Sydney, Australia. blushingjoy started way back in 2009 to when my then-fiancé now-husband proposed to chronicle my journey planning our wedding.
And lucky thing I did too, creating this journal.
Little did I know that the small intimate wedding we had planned was going to turn into a full blown adventure of one registry wedding, a semi traditional chinese wedding (I'm from a not very traditional family after all!) and a Sydney wedding (where we met and fell in love) over a span of 11 months. What's more amazing is we had a two month honeymoon to boot! I am one very lucky girl indeed!
Now that the wedding and honeymoon journey is done and over with, I've decided to transition blushingjoy to documenting our life after the wedding aka marriage. I don't know what is in store for the blog or for us but I'm excited to find out.
A lil bit more about me - I love spending time with the hubs, taking photos and discovering happy secret places. I also really really want toadopt a pet cat. Maybe one day soon. We adopted Maxxie Boo in December 2011! :)
