Eschalot has a special place in my heart. When we first moved to Australia, parents used to drive us to Berrima for a daytrip on the weekends and we will always end up having a nice lunch at Eschalot. Australia was so big and foreign and this lil town that existed just 2 hours drive (far enough for us!) from where we lived was like a little oasis for us. 🙂
Funny how after so many years, the little country town has not changed very much and the best thing is, their pretty fine restaurant with amazing food has stood the test of time! It is still my parent’s favorite place to go to for special occasions so it was a no-brainer when deciding where to take my parents for their birthdays this time. Love this place.
